Silicone has been the standard material in feeding tubes designed for long-term OG/NG usage. NeoDevices has designed and manufactured an advanced line of Silicone Feeding Tubes that are FDA approved for long term usage and include a variety of hub connections.

Included in NeoDevices hub designs is our Universal Hub that maintains a secure connection with a variety of devices. It can be used with a luer slip or luer locking syringe and extension sets. NeoDevices also offers an Enteral Only Hub that is not compatible with any type of luer connections. These hubs comply with the JCAHO requirement - 2006 National Patient Safety Goals, the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), and the American National Standard for Enteral Feeding Set Adaptors and Connectors © 2000.

Our Enteral Only Hub, as part of the Enteral Safety System (ESS), is designed to connect only to oral syringes and oral adaptors. We have included two additional safety features on our Silicone Feeding Tubes, an orange radiopaque stripe that runs the entire length of the tubing, and depth marks that aid in the placement. For hospitals that require luer connection feeding tubes, NeoDevices offers a full line of luer locking Silicone Feeding Tubes.
